“Despite the challenges we’ve faced during Covid, as well as the challenges facing higher education, it’s amazing how God has blessed IWU with the generosity of our loyal alumni and friends,” said Vice President Dr. Scott Turcotte. University Promotions Run a good race
The funds given to date (over 10,000) have enabled IWU to provide scholarship funds to over 1,753 students, which in turn has helped each student pursue or pursue a Christ-centered education. These students are now at different stages in their journey, and a group of them have used their talents and education to make a kingdom impact in the world.
At the start of the campaign, IWU launched seven initiatives designed to deliver on the strategic plan’s two main strategies:
Because of the generosity of our donors, these students are able to prepare for their careers at an institution where they encounter staff, faculty, and administrators who care about them and point them to Jesus.

There are always students experiencing financial hardship that we want to help, and now, more than ever, a Christ-centered education is critical.
“I think of the most precious and crucial purpose that God has entrusted to IWU for the next generation. “I believe IWU’s greatest calling is the unapologetic yet successful articulation and public practice of biblically faithful, Christ-centered scholarship, teaching, and mentoring,” said IWU president Dr. David Wright. “In this historic moment, the mark of a great Christian university is not how many students learn, but how many learn to live differently because they are here.” Our rich heritage
IWU is blessed with a rich heritage. God appreciates the investment of time, talent and treasure made by those who seek to serve faithfully to influence His Kingdom. He blessed the dedication of those involved in the fulfillment of the mission and vision. People love the loyal servants Wilbur and Ardelia Williams. Min illustrates the words of Luke 6:38, “Give and you will receive.” A large amount will be squeezed, shaken, and thrown into your lap. Because with the measure you use, you will be measured.
As we move from the first 100 years to the next 100 years, we seek to honor our heritage and expand our legacy. We must stand on the shoulders of saints like Wilbur and Ardelia as we seek to impact the world for the Kingdom.

The goal was achieved after four years of fundraising. As we enter our country and begin the public phase of a major redefinition campaign, we invite you to partner with us as we work to expand the country by providing better programs that develop better students.
I’m Jeremiah Teasdale, a pre-med biology major. Thank you for your scholarship. It couldn’t have come at a better time. Lately I’ve been a little worried about whether or not my funds will last me through college.
When this fear is at its peak, God sends you to give peace. I am grateful and would like to thank you for helping me in my education. My goal is to enter the field of orthopedic surgery.

Thank you for the John and Tony Murray Scholarship. Your generosity has made it possible for me to attend IWU and continue my education. I wasn’t sure how I was going to pay for school until I got the message that I was awarded your scholarship, so thank you for your generosity.
I am a junior studying elementary education with a concentration in TESOL. I have a big heart for others and a passion for championing the voiceless. I love learning new things and discovering more about the people around me. I am very excited to teach literacy as a future teacher.
My favorite place is the Dominican Republic, where I went on a mission trip to serve in a bilingual school teaching people who work on sugarcane plantations. That’s where God called me to be a teacher. After I graduate, I want to move there as a full-time mission teacher.
Mario Love, a 5’11” 285 lb. junior from Gautier, Mississippi, came to Marion, Indiana to get an education and play football. He wanted to get away from home. He chose IWU because of the Christian environment and the opportunity to be a part of something new. He wants to share that story with his children someday, “…to show them that being away from home wasn’t a bad thing, and to let them know that my part was to start something big.”

Despite very different backgrounds, a quiet demeanor, a beautiful Mississippi accent, and a father who was shot in front of his eyes during his freshman year of college, Mario stayed on track to pursue football for life and found a family. Team.
Mario studied community development, majoring in business administration and focusing on child advocacy. He wants to use his life to help people.
“I don’t know if I would be here without football. The football program helps me stay ahead of the curve. It helps me get organized, teaches me how to be better and hold myself to a higher standard both academically and in life. If I were to rate IWU football between 1 and 10, I would give it a 15.” Indiana Wesleyan University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. IWU’s bridging initiative is offered through a four-term structure. This allows us to start students every 6 weeks.
The Bridge Initiative gives students access to all associate and bachelor’s degree programs offered online by IWU, except nursing and health science degrees.
A student who enters the Bridge initiative can begin a bachelor’s degree at any time. No previous college experience is required. However, each program has specific admission requirements. For a list of admission requirements, see the University Catalog.
