Gcu Merit Scholarships

This scholarship can be used to cover all tuition costs and is awarded to elementary campus students in their fifth year of enrollment in the Barnabas Pastoral Program. For more information about scholarship requirements, please contact your university admissions counselor. This scholarship is available to traditional undergraduate students only.

Grand Canyon University (gcu) Scholarships In 2022

This award is up to $5,742 per academic year for students who are offered a California State Scholarship but apply. Students must provide proof of receipt of the California grant and are eligible to receive less than $5,742 in institutional aid. This award is renewable, but cannot be combined with other institutional aid.

This is a need-based scholarship program for qualified freshmen in Arizona. A limited number of scholarships are available for this program. There are two types of Canyon Rising Scholarship awards. The first two types of scholarships cover all tuition and fees (except parking and health insurance), while the second type of scholarship also covers room and board.

This scholarship is renewable for up to eight semesters and is not subject to the University’s CAP policy. -Admitted students who meet the Canyon Rising Scholarship award criteria will be automatically reviewed by the selection committee and will be notified of the award no later than July 1.

Eligible new students who are at least 17 years old and under 21 years old must meet academic eligibility requirements and have graduated from a participating Canyon Christian Schools Consortium (CCSC) school with an unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher. This scholarship provides $4,000 per academic year for undergraduate students and $1,500 per academic year for students who are accepted and attend their CCSC school for four years. The amount of your award depends on the number of semesters you successfully complete at a participating CCSC high school.

Here’s Why Grand Canyon University Is Expecting Record Enrollment This Fall Semester

New students who are at least 21 years old but younger than 23 may be eligible for the CCSC tuition discount. To be eligible, students must have graduated from CCSC by the date of contract signing and begin their education by age 23. The CCSC 21-23 Scholarship awards $3,000 per academic year to on-campus students and $1,000 per academic year to off-campus students who are accepted and have attended a CCSC school for four years. The amount of your award depends on the number of semesters you have successfully completed at a participating CCSC high school.

Both awards are renewable annually for the fall and spring for up to eight semesters. The awards require students to maintain full attendance, attend weekly campus service, and meet the 40-hour service requirement each academic year. Students who fail to meet the 40-hour service requirement may have their scholarships revoked. determines where each student works to meet the requirements. These awards cannot be combined with Grand Canyon University awards. These scholarships are subject to Grand Canyon University CAP policies and cannot exceed your cost. If you are a Resident Assistant or Life Leader or participate in a grant program that also reduces the cost of on-campus housing, your CCSC grant will be reduced by $1,000. This $1,000 discount is equivalent to 40 hours of CCSC recipient military service in the reduced academic year.

Gcu Merit Scholarships

For traditional undergraduate business students only, this scholarship is a full scholarship available to high school seniors and prospective students, $16,500 per academic year, renewable for up to eight semesters, and will replace any other semester of institutional support. To qualify, students must have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.75 or higher and demonstrate a commitment to community service, entrepreneurship, and academic excellence. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher to renew the scholarship. Please note that this scholarship is awarded to two incoming students each year. The Honors College Academic Excellence and Servant Leadership Scholarship can be awarded in the range of $1,000 to $5,000 per academic year. There are several awards available. This grant can be added to other institutionally funded aid. This scholarship is available to traditional undergraduate students only. Academic Calendar, Spring 2024

The program offers a $300 tuition discount per credit hour for on-campus and commuter students during the MDiv program and a 50% discount on your room rate during the program. Age restrictions may apply to qualify for the rental discount. The award is renewable annually for up to four years if you continue to be enrolled on a traditional campus. This award provides $1,000 per academic year if you are accepted, are a current member of Phi Theta Kappa, and have a college GPA of 3.5 or higher. This award is available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be combined with the Psi Beta Scholarship. This scholarship is available to traditional undergraduate students only.

This scholarship provides $1,000 per academic year if you are a current member of Psi Beta, have a college GPA of 3.5 or higher and are accepted.
