National Louis Scholarships

We have two undergraduate campus locations: our Chicago campus in downtown Chicago on Michigan Avenue and our campus location in Wheeling, Illinois. The same degree programs are offered at both locations, except for the Kendall College program, which is offered at our Chicago campus.

Washington University In St Louis

Yes, students on our downtown Chicago campus have the choice between residence halls and the University Center. Dormitory-style apartments and suites are available but not required.

No, we are tested blindly. You do not need to submit your ACT or SAT for acceptance results.

Your assigned enrollment specialist and student financial representative will work with you to find the right options for financing your education. Options include: applying for Pell and MAP grants through the FAFSA, completing an alternative application through the Retention of Illinois Students & Equity (RISE) Act, applying for external grants and scholarships, and payment arrangements to cover out-of-pocket expenses.

International Opportunity Scholarships At National Louis University, Usa

The MA in Psychology (non-clinical program) introduces you to the advanced study of human behavior and prepares you for a wide range of career opportunities in consultancy, business and education, as well as further postgraduate study.

The MS in Counseling prepares you to work as a counselor in a variety of settings, including schools, private practice, and psychiatric hospitals. Completion of the MS in Counseling program satisfies the educational requirements to qualify for the National Board for Certified Counselors Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) exam and then the LCPC licensure exam.

Yes, the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences offers a variety of instructional modalities to accommodate the busy schedules of working adults, depending on the program. Modality options include blended (online and face-to-face courses), synchronous online formats (dedicated class time via Zoom), and asynchronous online formats (self-paced learning). National Louis University uses a quarter system. We start in the fall, winter, spring and summer depending on the program you are interested in.

Housing And Residence Life

The Illinois School of Professional Psychology (ISPP) is a school within the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences that offers a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) program on our Illinois campus. Founded in Chicago in 1976, ISPP has more than 1,800 alumni and offers Psy.D. programs in the Midwest. ISPP was acquired by National Louis University in 2019.

One of the best scholarships for Kendall students is the Opportunity Grant, which reduces tuition costs by 25 percent for full-time students studying culinary arts or baking and pastry. The U also offers many other scholarships, which you can see here. There is also financial support.

Registration is free and takes about 15 minutes. Once you apply, you will need to submit your official transcripts. Because our admissions are rolling, meaning there is no strict application deadline, our courses are often fully booked, so it is best to apply as soon as possible.

If you are looking to enroll part-time, you will want to check out our culinary certificates and our baking and pastry certificates. Hospitality Management students also have the opportunity to enroll part-time; these courses are also offered 100% of the time. Due to the hands-on nature of our culinary courses, our Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry courses are held on campus, although students in these courses sometimes have the flexibility to take multiple courses.

Yes! Our Career Bridge does a lot of work to help students find internships and job opportunities. All students in our associate and bachelor’s degree programs complete at least one internship, and many students receive full-time job offers at the companies where they complete their internships. Plus, in addition to helping students find jobs after graduation, Career Bridge can also help them find part-time jobs in the food service and hospitality industries while they’re in school.

In addition to these degree programs, NCE also offers application support, endorsements, and certifications to help educators develop their skills and advance their careers.

Our Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program takes 1-2 years to complete. It is designed for students who are not yet licensed to teach and want to change careers, start a teaching career, or who have worked in education and want to become licensed.

NCE has been preparing outstanding teachers for 130 years, since our founder Elizabeth Harrison launched the kindergarten movement in the 1880s.

Yes, we offer a Master of Business Administration program in both 100% and blended (on-campus + online) formats. Our MBA program emphasizes diversity, equity and inclusion, and community impact. MBA students choose from six different concentrations, including entrepreneurship and nonprofit management. The program consists of 36 semester hours and can be completed in as little as 18 months.
