Cmu Transfer Scholarships – Eligibility: First-year students enrolled in an undergraduate program on campus who have completed high school within the last five years and have completed no more than nine credit hours at another post-secondary institution. Students must be Canadian citizens or equivalent to be eligible.

Students whose application materials (application form, relevant official transcripts, and application fee) are received by February 28 will receive the following scholarships:

The percentage will be calculated based on the top five approved courses taken in Senior 3 or Year 11. Of the five approved courses, at least one must be an English course and one must be in mathematics or science.

Scholarships, Bursaries, And Awards For Graduate Students

Students awarded an Academic Entrance Scholarship based on grades in Senior 3 or Year 11 must complete high school and meet the entry requirements for an approved Senior 4 or Year 12 course. If the calculated average of the grade 12 or senior 4 grades is higher than the grade 11 or senior 3 required to meet the entry requirements, the award will be revised, if it is lower, the award will be revised.

The average grade of senior 4 or grade 12 courses approved to meet the requirements for academic entrance scholarships will be used to assess scholarship eligibility for students who have completed grade 12 when they apply.

Academic Entrance Awards are also awarded to transfer students who transfer from an eligible Canadian university or college program. Transfer students are eligible to receive an entrance scholarship based on their previous academic performance.

The $1,000 Academic Excellence Scholarship is awarded to returning students at the end of each academic year and is based on academic performance. Full-time students who complete 12 credit hours.

Fall and winter semesters and those who achieve a minimum GPA of 3.8 in those semesters will be considered for this award. Students in four-year programs, if they meet the requirements, will be eligible for this scholarship for up to three years after completing their first year of study. In other words, a student will not be eligible to be considered for the highest GPA academic award/scholarship after their fourth year of study. Students studying in three-year programs will be considered for this scholarship for up to two years after completing their first year. The scholarship is credited to the student’s account for tuition and fees in two equal installments in September and January. No application is required.

In lieu of the Academic Excellence Scholarship, $2,000 will be awarded to the student with the highest GPA in the following areas: one-year program, business or communications major, humanities or biblical and theological studies major, social science or science major, music program (top $2,500, second place $1,500). Eligibility and years of eligibility are the same for the Academic Excellence Scholarship. SBC students who plan to complete a Bachelor of Education may transfer to complete the CBA Arts degree with required coursework in an additional two years after one or two years of study at SBC. Inti Establishes Academic Collaboration With Central Mindanao University

Carnegie Mellon is a prestigious university founded in 1900 and located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. CMU partners with the Qatar Foundation and established a new branch in Doha, Qatar in 2004. While the main campus in Pittsburgh does not offer any scholarships to international students, CMU-Q is a need-free university and offers need-based grant programs. Graduates of Carnegie Mellon University Qatar hold CMU degrees, which are awarded from the Pittsburgh campus.

Carnegie Mellon University Qatar is one of my dream universities and schools. On March 30, when I was applying to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, I heard that CMU-Q would release the admissions decision on April 1. As someone who has been rejected many times, I thought it would be another rejection. The decision was announced on April 1 at 10 pm. Before opening the portal, I saw in the Telegram group many people who were rejected and believed that I would be rejected too. When I opened the portal and clicked the update button, a video appeared in which the admissions director said, “Congratulations, you made it!”. Even now, as I write this article, I remember the shock I felt. I was so happy and even checked it twice to make sure it was real, and not a dream.

Qatar Foundation has created a place called “Education City” with many of the world’s leading universities. CMU-Q, NU-Q, WCM-Q. Georgetown-Q, UCL, HBKU, Virginia Commonwealth University, HEC Paris, and Texas A&M are all located in Education City. It has built student dormitories where students from all universities can live together. Socially, it provides a great opportunity to network with people from partner universities.

As we all know, it is important to find the best university for you. CMU-Q is perfect for me academically, socially and culturally. Because CMU-Q class sizes are small, most students have the opportunity to explore and develop their skills. As a major, I want to take not only courses related to my major, but also Arabic, math, and psychology. In addition, we can cross-register for courses at NU-Q and GEORGETOWN-Q. In addition, it is a great opportunity to learn about the Middle East and learn about different cultures and backgrounds.
